Stem cells exist in human embryos, placenta, umbilical cord, umbilical cord blood, bone marrow and peripheral blood. All tissues and organs need to be continuously refreshed and repaired throughout our lives. Stem cells play a key role there!!

I. Clinical judgment is still required for the suitability of this technology for patients with any of the above indications.

II. All entities, who have adopted this Measures, should implement its amendment dated June 8, 2005 within six months from the date of its promulgation.
